Santa Rosa de Mazocruz
Mazocruz, from the words “Paso Cruce,” the cross point between two paths, becomes the epicentre of this collaboration between two cultures.
There, in the high mountain ranges of Puno in the southwest of Peru is an area characterized by its semi-rugged topography, with hillsides, mountain streams and the intermediary pampa, is where we find the district of Santa Rosa – Mazocruz.
Located at more than 1,400 km from Lima, we find a place where the Aymara people, their traditions and customs prevail through time. Among them, the craftsmanship and breeding of Alpacas; activities that strengthen the cultural and community linkages among the inhabitants of this region.
